WHAT IS CSWA?

The Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) Certification Program provides the skills
students need to work in the design and engineering fields. Successfully passing the
CSWA Exam assessment proves competency in 3D CAD modeling technology,
application of engineering principles, and recognition of global industry practices.
The exam features hands-on challenges in many of these areas:
  1. Sketch entities - lines, rectangles, circles, arcs, ellipses, centerlines
  2. Sketch tools - offset, convert, trim
  3. Sketch relations
  4. Boss and cut features - extrudes, revolves, sweeps, lofts
  5. Fillets and chamfers
  6. Linear, circular and fill patterns
  7. Dimensions
  8. Feature conditions – start and end
  9. Mass properties
  10. Materials
  11. Inserting components
  12. Standard mates - coincident, parallel, perpendicular, tangent, concentric, distance, angle
  13. Reference geometry – planes, axis, mate references
